A first in Burundi, the Spanish professional football league La Liga organized a women’s football tournament in Burundi called “one goal, one team”, this tournament organized by the Spanish Liga was represented by the Spanish NGO Asu.
The tournament took place on the ndava hill in Muhanga commune in the province of kayanza. This tournament, which ended this Saturday, July 30, brought together 50 players aged between 12 and 16 from several teams in northern Burundi.
The final was won by the team of players financed by the Athletico madrid foundation, which beat with a score of 2 goals to 1, the other financed by the foundation
Real madrid(France) and 2 major teams within the Spanish La Liga who have chosen to invest in Burundi women’s football.
