English club says 30-year-old footballer signed 2.5-year deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday signed Spanish midfielder Pablo Sarabia from Paris Saint-Germain.

“Attacking midfielder Pablo Sarabia has completed a permanent move to Wolves from Paris Saint-Germain, reuniting him with former head coach Julen Lopetegui.

“The 30-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux, providing a first experience of English football on the back of representing Spain at the World Cup just last month,”

Wolves said in a statement.

Sarabia and Lopetegui worked together in Spain’s U-19 team and they reunited at Wolves.

Last season Sarabia joined Portugal’s Sporting on loan to score 21 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances.

The ex-Sevilla midfielder previously moved to PSG in 2019 to win the French league twice.

He scored 22 goals and made 12 assists in 98 matches for PSG.

Sarabia played for his native Spain in the UEFA EURO 2020 and 2022 FIFA World Cup.
