Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been named the League Managers Association’s Manager of the Year for the third time in six seasons.Â
The 52-year-old Spanish tactician also won the Premier League Manager of the Year award after his side clinched a third consecutive title and fifth in six seasons. He was only the third manager to win three or more LMA Manager of the Year awards, matching David Moyes’ tally, but still two behind Sir Alex Ferguson.Â
City face Manchester United in the FA Cup final this Saturday and Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10, which means they are now just two wins away from winning the Premier League title, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season.Â

City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain added.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe, Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi and Burnley’s Vincent Kompany were also nominated for the award.
