Kiyovu Sports have appointed Greek tactician Petros Koukouras as their new head coach.

Koukouras, 34, replaces Alain-André Landeut, who had been reassigned from his coaching role to Sporting Manager, while club assistant Jean de Dieu Mateso was also shown an exit door last week after failing to win the league title.

Born in the Greek City of Kavala, Koukouras previously coached Ghanaian second tier side Pacific Heroes twice during the 2018/2019 season and in 2021 where he left after just four months.

He was also the assistant coach of the South Sudan national team from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

His last job was with Uganda Premier League side SC Villa where both parties parted ways through mutual agreement on June 23, 2022.

Koukouras holds a UEFA License A coaching certificate.
