Al Nassr announced on Monday the signing of Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan. The midfielder will follow in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps and play in the Saudi league next campaign.

Despite Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic looking favourably on a move to La Liga, he has joined Al Nassr, the Saudi club announced on Monday.

The 30-year-old will share a dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo from July and will be part of the Saudi league project. Saudi Arabia want to improve football in their country and are signing big stars to attract the attention of the fans.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s club offered the Croatian a salary of more than 75 million euros while they have paid Inter Milan 18 million euros for his transfer. The midfielder had been on the Italian side’s ranks since 2014.

The 30-year-old will start a new adventure after losing both the Nations League final against Spain and the Champions League final against Manchester City. Inter will reduce their wage bill with this transfer.
