Galatasaray reached an agreement to sign the Argentine forward, Mauro Icardi, from Paris Saint Germain (PSG), with a three-year contract, as reported by the Turkish Super Lig champions on Sunday.

The transfer deal entails Galatasaray paying a total of 10 million euros (around 11.02 million dollars) to PSG over a span of four seasons, while Icardi is set to receive six million euros per season.

Icardi had been on loan at Galatasaray during the previous season, leaving a significant impact with his remarkable performance. Throughout 24 appearances in the league, he scored an impressive 22 goals and provided seven assists, ultimately contributing to the club’s triumphant 23rd title win in May, the first since the 2018-19 season.

With the acquisition now made permanent, Galatasaray and its fans eagerly await the upcoming seasons, hoping that Icardi will continue to propel the team to further success.
