Investigations regarding the Juventus scandal involving players’ agreeing to postpone salary payments during COVID are still underway, reports the latest edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Paulo Dybala playing a major role.

The former Juve attacker was one of the first players to have his testimony taken at the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.

The Italian newspaper claims that Dybala has declared he’s still owed €3.7 million in wages by Juventus. The Argentine forward agreed in 2021 to have his salary payments postponed to a later date.

However, Juventus never came through with the payment despite the player’s decision to leave the club at the end of his contract.

Dybala reportedly added that Juventus can still make the payments by April 2023, otherwise the player and his entourage will take legal action, although they prefer not to start any lawsuits.

The newspaper adds that the document certifying the agreement between Juventus and Dybala has been found and has been signed by all the parties involved.
