After four goals in the last two games, including one that stalled Napoli’s Scudetto celebrations, Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia could spark a bidding war with Napoli, Milan and Premier League sides interested.

The 26-year-old Senegal international was snapped up on loan from Villarreal for €1m with an option to buy for a further €12m that will certainly be activated at the end of the season.

His price-tag is already circa double that, starting at a minimum of €20m thanks to a spectacular debut Serie A campaign that saw him contribute 15 goals and six assists in 30 games.

Dia made history at the weekend when his equalisers forced Napoli to postpone their title party, then bagged a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw with Fiorentina last night.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli and Milan are showing interest in signing Dia next term, while the Premier League clubs have also been paying attention to his current form.

The English sides might be more likely to win the race, considering Dia would be seen as more of an understudy than a first choice, so at €20m that is too expensive for the Serie A teams.
