FC Barcelona has made an offer to Bayern Munich for its star Robert Lewandowski and hopes to have ‘a positive response’

FC Barcelona is slowly starting to lose patience in the Robert Lewandowski case .

“We have made an offer for the player, we are waiting for the response, we will see if it is positive,”

Joan Laporta said on Thursday during the presentation of Danish central defender Andreas Christensen, new recruit from the Blaugrana club.

“We thank the player (Lewandowski) for all the demonstrations he has made to show that he wants to come”

continued the president of Barça , who however wished to show respect towards Bayern.

Laporta did not specify the amount of the offer, and dismissed some rumors saying that the German club, suspicious of Barca’s economic situation, wanted the Catalan club to pay for the transfer of ‘Lewy’ on the spot. “I don’t believe it, I believe it’s information from a cat and it was a joke, it doesn’t come from Bayern,” Laporta slipped.
