Todd Boehly looks set to sign his first player as Chelsea chairman in the transfer window this week after the Blues have already been linked with a number of big names.

Raheem Sterling, Cristiano Ronaldo, Matthijs de Ligt, Matheus Nunes and more have all been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues look to close the gap to Liverpool and Manchester City. There could be plenty on their way out too with Antonio Rudiger, Romelu Lukaku and Andreas Christensen already departing.

Raheem Sterling ‘agrees personal terms’

Chelsea have edged closer to their first summer signing after agreeing personal terms with Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.

The England international is closing in on a surprise move to Stamford Bridge as Thomas Tuchel looks to strengthen his attack following Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter Milan. Sterling is the club’s top transfer target and a deal is very close to being completed.

Chelsea want to complete a deal for the 27-year-old by the end of this week before the Blues fly out to America for their pre-season tour, with a fee in the region of £50million being discussed.
