According to The Athletic, Arsenal are in talks with Manchester City to try to land Ukrainian left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko, a priority for Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners shop at a rival. After completing the transfer of Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal are targeting another Manchester City player. According to The Athletic , the London club want to secure the services of right- back Oleksandr Zinchenko .

Aged 25, the left-hander is under contract with the Citizens until 2024. The two boards would have entered the discussion phase. If there is no agreement to date, Manchester City would not be closed to the departure of its defender.

Replaced by Cucurella?

At Arsenal, Zinchenko would find as coach Mikel Arteta, a coach with whom he collaborated when the Spaniard was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at City. The Urkanian left-back has worn the colors of Cityzens since 2016.

After 127 games (1 goal) in all competitions, the door to departure has never seemed so open. Brighton’s Spanish international defender Marc Cucurella is Manchester City’s priority for the left-back position.
