Gabriel Jesus has passed his Arsenal medical and should be announced as a new signing on Wednesday.

Gabriel Jesus’ transfer from Manchester City to Arsenal is now in the very final stages, only awaiting an official announcement by the club.

Fabrizio Romano and Ben Jacobs report that Jesus has completed his medical, with Romano adding that everything is signed and completed between Arsenal and Manchester City.

This is no real surprise, as pictures leaked on Tuesday of Jesus arriving for his medical examinations.

After that medical at a facility in London, Charles Watts reported that Jesus had arrived at London Colney to meet some of his new teammates and complete his club media duties.

Watts added that the striker will probably be announced today, Wednesday 29th June. Though with Arsenal, you can never be sure.

Jesus has signed until June 2027 and Manchester City are to receive a £45m fee.

Jesus spent six years with Manchester City, winning four Premier League titles among other honours.

The striker provided a combined 25 goals and assists in 41 appearances this season, averaging a goal contribution every 103 minutes.

Arsenal will hope he can keep that record up in North London and add plenty of goals to Mikel Arteta’s side in the coming campaign.

Jesus has plenty of personal motivation, with the World Cup coming up later this year. The stronger he starts at Arsenal, the better his chances of a starting role with Brazil.
