Still keen to leave Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has received two concrete offers from Saudi Arabia. Offers he has so far refused.

Saudi Arabia does not let go of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese has still not found a way out this summer, despite clearly expressed desires from July. But the fivefold Golden Ball does not want to go anywhere.

According to The Athletic , the latter turned down an offer from Al-Hilal, who offered him a salary of 2.3 million euros per week over two years, as well as another offer from Al-Nassr. Despite the refusals, the president of the Saudi Football Federation does not give up and strongly believes that CR7 will soon play in his country, knowing that the transfer window is still open until September 17.

“We would like to see a player like Cristiano Ronaldo play in the Saudi League. great example,”

Yasser Al-Misehal (president of the Saudi Football Federation) told The Athletic.

Under contract until 2023 with Manchester United, the 37-year-old Portuguese did not hide his desire to leave the Red Devils , who did not qualify for the Champions League.

“I’m sure it would be a very expensive deal, of course, but we can see our clubs get higher incomes in the years to come. We’ve already seen great players who have played in the Premier League who have joined Saudi Arabia,”

Continues Yasser Al-Misehal.

Since the start of the season, the Portuguese striker has been only a shadow of himself. After six days in the Premier League, Cristiano Ronaldo has so far only one start (during the scathing 4-0 conceded at Brentford ) and has still not scored a single goal.

During the four consecutive victories of the Red Devils in the league (current series), the Portuguese has, each time, started the meeting on the bench. Which gives arguments to those who believe that his profile is not suited to Erik ten Hag’s style of play.
